With over 45 years of experience in the highly creative entertainment industry, Michael Morreale recently retired to the serene Sierra foothills of Northern California, where he now enjoys life with his wife and their growing family. Michael is thrilled to have recently become a grandfather for the first time, which has inspired his new creative journey into children’s literature.
As an avid storyteller, Michael channeled his passion for writing into his debut children’s book, Kayla the Caterpillar. With a heart for storytelling and a deep love for nature, he believes Kayla the Caterpillar is the first of many books he will share with young readers. Outside of writing, Michael enjoys hiking, playing pickleball, and spending cozy evenings by the wood-burning stove. While cutting and stacking firewood is not his favorite chore, the beauty and peace of his surroundings make it all worthwhile.
